N80 Hilux LED Upgrades

Today we dive into Fred’s N80 Hilux and a couple of his recent BASE6 light upgrades. This was a recent update that he completed with some awesome new gear provided by BASE6.

This upgrade was a combination of Quad MK2 driving lights and the new 3″ Cube lights. Using these has provided Fred with excellent visibility both on and off the road. Thanks to our LED lighting, Fred can now enjoy his Toyota N80 Hilux safely and in style!

Be sure to jump over and follow his build and updates on Instagram! I’ll link his socials at the end of this post.

Now let’s break down what went into this build.

TRIPLE QUAD MK2 LED DRIVING LIGHTS

Coming into this build, Fred already had a pair of outdated driving lights fitted. We wont name them but,it was time for an upgrade. So out with the old and in with the new, beefier (Is that even a word!) and brighter BASE6 QUAD MK2’s. His now really turning night into day using 3 (Yes! 3 of these bad boys) Driving Lights on the front end shooting out to a whopping 2kms!

With the built in DRL front position lights, the Quad MK2’s really set a mean and aggressive stance to this N80 Hilux.

3″ CUBE SERIES RGB LIGHTS

This is one of those products for people who want crazy good performance whilst keeping athetitics on point! Fred wanted to increase his side visibiliy and went with the RGB optioned marine Cube lights mounted as ditch lights. Not only do these light up the side of the road extremely well, they also allow for backing light colour customisation.

Closing out this post, we are super proud of how well the BASE6 lights have transformed this rig! We cant wait to see some fantastic content from Fred.
